Hunter Spring is an easy out-and-back hike in the Sierra Vista Ranger District of Coronado National Forest in Arizona, about 1.3 miles long with a one-way elevation gain of 524 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is on natural surface. It is not an accessible trail. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show April highs around 75°F with lows near 45°F, and October is similar at about 77°F and 50°F. Summer brings highs in the low 90s and roughly 13 to 14 wet days a month in July and August, while winter nights dip to around 33°F. The trail is suitable for bikes and horses. Hunter Creek, a hike about half a mile away, and Hunter Canyon, a mountain biking route, are the closest neighbors. Reef Townsite Campground sits about 2.4 miles off, and Lower Miller Canyon is about 1.2 miles away.
