The Corral is a 5.8-mile out-and-back hike in the Clifton Ranger District of the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests in eastern Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. The trail starts at about 4,680 feet and climbs to about 5,796 feet, a total gain of 1,128 feet one way. Spring and fall are the most comfortable seasons. Typical averages from the nearby Glenwood, NM weather station run from highs around 74°F in April to 76°F in October, while July and August highs reach about 91°F with roughly 10 wet days a month. Bikes and horses are both allowed, and the trail surface is natural. It is not an accessible trail. Close by are Clear Creek and Pinyon, both hikes within about 3 miles. For an overnight stay, Lower Juan Miller Campground is about 4 miles away, and Upper Juan Miller Campground is about 4.6 miles away.
