Bail #656 is a short, easy hike in the Red Rock Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona, about 0.7 miles long with a one-way climb of 98 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is within the Red Rock Ranger District. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Sedona show April highs around 75°F and October highs around 79°F, while July averages reach 97°F. The trail is open to both bikes and horses. It sits right next to the Bell Rock Pathway and the Bail Trail, both mountain biking routes about 0.1 mile away. Climbers can head to Bell Rock / Courthouse Butte, about 0.9 mile off, and campers will find Chavez Crossing about 2.1 miles away.
