Talus Connector Trail is an easy out-and-back hike in northeastern Alabama, about 2 miles from the town of Burrows. The trail is short, at roughly 2 miles round trip, and it climbs from about 1,050 feet to a high point near 1,260 feet. That's a total gain of about 760 feet over the course of the hike, with the steepest stretch coming at about 0.9 miles in, where the grade reaches about 19%. The most comfortable time to go is late spring or early fall.
