Odum Scout Trail is an 8-mile out-and-back hike in the Talladega Ranger District of the National Forests in Alabama, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is rated hard, with a total elevation gain of about 1,500 feet and a steepest grade of 18% around the 2.4-mile mark. The route is natural-surface and does not allow bikes or horses. The climb is front-loaded, with the high point at about 2,235 feet and the low point at about 1,137 feet. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go.
