Williams Ranch

Williams Ranch holds the distinction of being the oldest community in Mills County, Texas. Its roots trace back to 1855, when John Williams established a settlement in what was then Brown County — the county lines were drawn differently before Mills County was later organized. The site sits roughly 3 miles south of Mullin and about 8 miles northwest of Goldthwaite, the current county seat.

Today Williams Ranch is a ghost town, and visitors should arrive with modest expectations.
