The Tugaloo River arm of Lake Hartwell is a productive fishing area on this large Corps of Engineers reservoir straddling the Georgia-South Carolina border. The area is known for excellent largemouth bass fishing, particularly in spring around submerged structure and creek channels. Striped bass and crappie are also popular targets.
