Skunk Hollow is a bouldering area in Wyoming, about 1.8 miles from the community of Casper Mountain. It is a compact spot for climbers who prefer crags over long approaches, and it sits close to two other climbing areas, Sensory Deprivation and Head Games, both about a mile away. The climbing here is bouldering only. Two routes are listed: Asteroid Belt, graded V1-, and Want Some Fries With That Shake?, graded V3. Both are boulders, so the grade range runs from V1- to V3. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 84°F with lows near 54°F, while winter brings highs in the mid-30s and regular snow days from December through February. That station sits well below the area, so temperatures up high run cooler. For more time on foot, the Split Rock Trail and Crooked Pine Trail are both within about 2 miles. Rim Campground and Lodgepole Campground are each a little over 5 miles away for overnight stays.
