Hoback Shield Right is a climbing area in the Jackson Ranger District of Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among several other climbing areas, with McFlatus Roof Area and Hoback Shield Left each about 0.1 mile away, and the Far Right (Warmup Area) at a similar distance. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Bondurant weather station show July and August highs around 80°F with lows near 40°F, while winter highs stay in the mid-20s. For a hike, Cow Creek - Bull Creek is about half a mile away, and Kozy Campground is roughly 1.7 miles off. Hoback Campground lies about 2.8 miles away.
