Aspen Grove Boulders is a bouldering area in Wyoming, about 6 miles from the small town of Islay. It sits close to Curt Gowdy State Park, less than a mile away, and is one of several climbing spots in the area that make the region a draw for climbers and outdoor enthusiasts. The boulders offer a compact set of problems, all rated on the V scale and the YDS scale. Five routes are listed, including Wrist Rocket at V1, Nobody's Fault But Mine at V2 and Aspen Arete at V3. The V2 and V3 grades sit at the top of the area's range. The first two were both climbed by Magill in 2007. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically June through September. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 75°F in June to about 81°F in July, with September cooling to around 72°F. That station sits roughly 790 feet lower than the boulders, so temperatures at the site run cooler. Nearby, Curt Gowdy State Park is the closest neighbor, and Campjack Rocks is about 4.6 miles away. Brush Creek Nature Trail offers hiking at 4.4 miles, and Kate's Trail, a mountain biking route, is about 4.7 miles away.
