Red Ridge is a mountain biking route in central Wyoming on Bureau of Land Management land within the Lander Field Office. The nearest town is Lander. The ride is an out-and-back about 4.8 miles long, with a one-way climb of 365 feet to a high point of 6,043 feet. The whole trip gains and loses about 922 feet, and the steepest stretch comes around the first mile, with a grade of about 11 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 86°F and lows near 56°F, while September cools to highs around 73°F. Johnny Falls Trail starts just 0.1 mile away, and the J-Line and Flowin' Johnny mountain biking routes are within about a mile and a half.
