Flowin' Johnny is an easy out-and-back mountain biking route on Bureau of Land Management land in the Lander Field Office of Wyoming. The ride covers about 1.3 miles and reaches a high point of 5,820 feet, with a total elevation gain of 345 feet and a loss of the same on the way back. The climb is short, and the steepest stretch comes early, at about 0.19 miles into the route, with a grade of 7 percent. Starting at roughly 5,695 feet, the trail reaches its highest point before descending back to the trailhead. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical July averages from a nearby weather station in Lander run to a high of 86°F and a low of 56°F, while June and September are milder, with highs near 77°F and 73°F.
