Haunted Forest Trail is a mountain biking route in the Laramie Ranger District of the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest in Wyoming, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is an out-and-back with a total length of about 2.2 miles, and it rises from a low point of 8,165 feet to a high of 8,503 feet, a total gain of 809 feet. The climb is rated hard, and the steepest stretch comes early, at about 0.2 miles in, with a grade of 12 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Laramie show July highs around 81°F with lows near 52°F, and the station sits roughly 1,100 feet below the trail, so temperatures on the route run cooler. The Goat Trail and Aspen Trail both start about 0.1 mile away. The Haunted Forest cross-country ski area is about 0.3 mile off, and Pole Creek Group Campground is about 0.7 mile away.
