Roaring Fork Trail is a 15-mile out-and-back hike in Wyoming's Huston Park Wilderness, part of the Brush Creek-Hayden Ranger District of the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest. The trail climbs from about 7,900 feet to a high point of 10,338 feet, with a total elevation gain of 2,204 feet. It is a hard route, and the Forest Service manages the land. The trail is natural-surfaced and allows horses, so riders can take it as well as hikers. It is open year-round, and the surrounding wilderness makes it a destination for a full day or longer in the backcountry. Verde Mine Trail and Baby Lake are both about 3 miles away, and Lost Creek Campground is about 4 miles off. Paddlers can reach the North Fork Little Snake River, roughly 5 miles from the trail.
