Powerline Jumps is a short, easy hike in the Jackson Ranger District of Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming, about a mile from Jackson. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is about 1 mile long with a low of about 7,137 feet and a high of about 7,373 feet. The route works well for a quick outing. It is rated easy, and the trail surface is natural. Bikes and horses are both allowed, so it makes a flexible option for riders or pack animals. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Jackson weather station put July highs around 79°F with lows near 41°F, and snow days drop to zero from June through September. Parallel Trail and Fuzzy Bunny are both within a mile. For time on the water, the Snake River is about 5 miles away. Trail Creek campground sits about 6 miles out.
