About this trail
This out-and-back trail offers scenic access to the north shore of Shoshone Lake, one of Wyoming's pristine high-elevation lakes. Hikers traverse through subalpine forest and meadow terrain with views of the lake and surrounding peaks. The relatively moderate distance makes this an excellent choice for experiencing alpine lake scenery without extreme elevation gain.
