Kepler Cascade Ski Trail is a short out-and-back ski touring route in Yellowstone National Park, managed by the National Park Service in Wyoming. The trail is about 2.2 miles long, with a total elevation gain of 544 feet, and it starts and ends at roughly 7,584 feet, with the high point at 7,589 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about half a mile in, with a grade of about 7 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Old Faithful weather station show July highs around 76°F and lows near 39°F, while winter highs stay in the 20s and 30s. A fee is charged for this route.
