Monument Ridge is a hard hike in the Big Piney Ranger District of Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming, about 19 miles long with a one-way climb of about 2,000 feet from roughly 6,600 feet to about 8,260 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is natural-surfaced and open to horses and bikes. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. At a nearby weather station in Bondurant, typical July and August highs run about 80°F with lows in the low 40s, and those months see the fewest wet days of the year. The station sits well below the trail's high point, so temperatures up top run cooler. Parody Draw, Little Cliff Creek and Rock Creek are all within about 5 miles. Kozy Campground is about 6 miles away for an overnight base.
