Cascade Creek Trail is an 11.4-mile out-and-back hike in Wyoming's Washakie Wilderness, part of the Greybull Ranger District of Shoshone National Forest. The trail rises from a low point of 9,225 feet to a high of 11,325 feet, with a total elevation gain of 2,506 feet. It is an expert-level route, and the Forest Service manages the land. The trail is natural-surfaced and accessible, and horses are allowed. It is open year-round, so it works for a trip at any time of year. The route is long and steep, and the climb is one of the main challenges. The trail is also a good base for exploring the surrounding area.
