Angles Trail is a 5.2-mile out-and-back hike in Wyoming's Bridger-Teton National Forest, within the Blackrock Ranger District. The trail rises from a low point of 7,086 feet to a high of 8,537 feet, with a total elevation gain of 564 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trailhead is named Angles Trailhead, with parking at Angles Trailhead. The trail is rated moderate. It is a natural-surface route, and horses are allowed. Bikes are not. The trail is open from May 1 through October 31. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Darwin run to highs around 72°F in July and 71°F in August, with lows in the mid-30s. That station sits about 350 feet lower than the trail's high point, so temperatures on the summit run a little cooler. Angles Campground is just 0.1 mile from the trailhead. Angles Cutoff Trail lies about 1.3 miles away, and South Fork Buffalo Trail is about 2.8 miles off. Turpin Meadow Campground is about 4 miles away.
