Brooklyn Lake Campground sits on Brooklyn Lake in the Laramie Ranger District of the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest in Wyoming, managed by the Forest Service. The 19 campsites all offer lake views ranging from great to spectacular, and the lake itself is a nice spot for canoeing in the shadow of snow-capped Browns Peak. Every site has a table and fire ring, and trash is picked up. Vault toilets are on site. Fishing access is available on the lake, and the Sheep Lake Trail #389 and Glacier Lakes Trail lead out from the campground. Internal-combustion motors are not allowed on the lake, only hand-powered boating. There is a carry-down access for boats, no ramp. Dogs must be leashed. Nash Fork Campground is about a mile away, and Sugarloaf Campground is about 3 miles off. Hikers can reach Libby Creek and the Shelf Lakes Trail within about 2.5 miles.
