South Peak West Face (Main Area) is a climbing area in the Potomac Ranger District of Monongahela National Forest in West Virginia, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among several other climbing areas, with Southwest Corner and Lower Broadway each about 0.1 mile away. The area holds 83 routes, mostly traditional (79) with a few sport (3) and one mixed. Grades run from 5.2 to 5.12b, with the median at 5.8. Among the named routes are Old Ladies Route at 5.2, Breakneck at 5.6, and The Viper at 5.12b, the hardest listed.
