Karate Kid Boulder is a bouldering area in West Virginia's Snake Hill Wildlife Management Area, managed by the State Department of Natural Resources. It sits among a cluster of other bouldering spots, with Junction Boulders, Lost in Moss Boulder and Exhibition Boulder all about 0.1 mile away. The area's five bouldering routes run from V3 up to V8, with Karate Kid at the top end and Karate Kid Direct in the V6-7 range. Bonsai, a V7, was first climbed by Mark Ulbrich in March 2021. September is the most comfortable time to visit, with typical highs around 77°F and lows near 56°F, based on averages from a nearby weather station in Morgantown. That station sits about 650 feet lower than the boulders, so temperatures on the rock run cooler. The Ridge Trail starts about 0.1 mile away, and the Canyon Rim Trail, Northside Trail and Cheat View Hike are all within a mile.
