The Dolly Sods Region is a climbing area in the Dolly Sods Wilderness, part of the Potomac Ranger District of Monongahela National Forest in West Virginia. The Forest Service manages the land. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 75°F with lows near 57°F, while September cools to highs in the upper 60s and has the fewest wet days of the year. Several trails start close by, including Bear Rocks Trail and Dobbin Slashings Trail, both about 0.6 miles away, and Beaver View Trail at 0.7 miles. Red Creek Campground, about 2.6 miles off, offers a place to stay.
