Laurel Fork Campground is a primitive Forest Service campground in the Greenbrier Ranger District of Monongahela National Forest in West Virginia. It sits along the Laurel Fork River, between the Laurel Fork North and South Wilderness areas, and is built on the site of an old Civilian Conservation Corps location. The setting makes it a natural base for exploring the Middle Mountain area, with day hiking and backpacking routes leading out from the campground into the surrounding wilderness. Summer and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 78°F with lows near 55°F, and September highs around 72°F with the fewest wet days of the year. The Laurel Fork South trail starts just 0.1 mile away, and the Forks hike is about a mile off. Middle Mountain Cabins and Gatewood Group are both within about six miles.
