Segelsen Road is a short cross-country skiing route in the Darrington Ranger District of Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington. It is an easy, low-elevation outing, starting from about 2,605 feet and reaching a high of 2,674 feet over a one-way distance of about 0.58 miles. The climb is gentle, with a total gain and loss of about 141 feet, and the steepest part comes within the first 0.05 miles at about 10%. The road lies within the Darrington Ranger District and is managed by the Forest Service. Its brevity makes it a simple add-on to a longer day in the area, and it works well paired with other spots in the forest. Winter is the natural season for skiing here. For the most comfortable conditions, plan for a day when temperatures stay cold and snow is on the ground. Nearby, the North Fork Stillaguamish River offers canoeing about 1.9 miles away, and Round Mountain #664 and ROUND MOUNTAIN are hikes roughly 2.9 and 3.2 miles out. Clear Creek Campground sits about 8.2 miles away for anyone planning to stay overnight.
