Brian's Hill is a short, back-loaded out-and-back route in Washington's Mount Spokane State Park, managed by State Park and Recreation. The trail is just over half a mile long, with a total elevation gain of 183 feet. The climb starts steep, with a 10% grade at about 0.1 mile, and the high point is 4,645 feet. The return is the same descent, so the total loss is also 183 feet. The route is rated hard, a label that fits its short, steep climb. The hill sits among several cross-country ski routes in the park. Art's Boogie is about 0.1 mile away, and Valley View, Larch and Alpine are each about 0.2 mile off, making it easy to string together a longer ski outing. For paddlers, Blanchard Creek is about 6 miles away.
