Wild Cat Wall is a climbing area in Washington's Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, within the Naches Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the wall sits among several other named climbing areas, making it one of a cluster of crags in this part of the forest. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run to highs around 75 to 76°F in July and August, with only seven or eight wet days a month. That station sits about 660 feet lower than the wall, so temperatures on the wall run cooler. The routes here are mostly trad, with three mixed routes and one sport route. The hardest is Fire Stone at 5.12-, and the easiest is Wild Confusion at 5.9. Thundercats is a trad route at 5.11b, and Street Walking Cheetah is a 5.11+ trad route with a first ascent in 1995. The closest neighbors are Soup Creek Trail and the Lava Wall/Deadheads and Dream Wall climbing areas, each about 1.2 miles away. Peninsula Campground is about 2 miles off, and the Tieton River is about 2.4 miles away.
