Mount Redoubt is a climbing area in the Stephen Mather Wilderness, within North Cascades National Park in Washington, managed by the National Park Service. The route here is a single traditional climb, the Southern Route, first ascended in 1930 by Jimmie Cherry and Bob Ross, a pair of Canadian climbers. The climb is a classic objective in the North Cascades, and the park's wilderness status means you'll be heading into backcountry terrain. There is no fee to climb, and the National Park Service lists no other activities at the site. The closest nearby outing is Depot Creek Trail, about 1.8 miles away. Little Beaver Trail and Stillwell Camp Access are each roughly 4.9 miles off. The Northern Pickets climbing area sits about 9.5 miles away.
