Spire Gully right - Alpenkuhl is an alpine climbing area in the Methow Valley Ranger District of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in northeastern Washington. The Forest Service manages the land, and the crag sits right alongside the Kangaroo Pass Climbers Path and the Hairpin Crags, making it easy to pair with other routes in the area. Five alpine routes lie within the area, all rated between 5.8 and 5.10 on the YDS scale. The hardest is a 5.10b route named Unnamed 4. The others are Unnamed 6 at 5.8, Unnamed 5 at 5.8+, and Unnamed 2 and Unnamed 3 at 5.9 and 5.10. Hairpin Crags is just 0.1 mile away, and the Kangaroo Pass Climbers Path is the same distance. The Pica Peak Climbers Path is 0.3 mile off. For an overnight base, Lone Fir Campground is about 4.7 miles away.
