Mini Cow Boulder is a climbing area in Washington, about 1.9 miles from the town of Fairfax. It sits right beside the Melmont boulders, just 0.1 mile away, so the two make a natural pairing for a day spent moving between problems. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb here. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 75°F with lows near 52°F, while winter highs hover in the mid-40s. Beyond the Melmont boulders, Wilkeson crag offers more climbing about 4.8 miles away. Voight Creek, 2.1 miles off, is the closest paddling option, and the Tower Trail, about 5.2 miles away, adds a hike to the trip.
