Grandview Boulder is a bouldering area in Washington's Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, within the Wenatchee River Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the boulders sit close to the cluster of climbing and camping around Icicle Group Campground, about 0.3 miles away. The area holds 11 boulder problems, all rated between V1-2 and V7 on the V scale. The most common grade is V6, and the hardest is Metachthonia at V7. Several routes are listed, including Songs from the North (V1-2), Grandview Arete (V4-5) and El Bicho (V5). Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. At the nearby Leavenworth weather station, typical July and August highs run around 87°F with lows near 50°F and only about three wet days a month. That station sits well below the boulders, so temperatures at the crag run cooler. Winter is cold, with typical January highs in the mid-30s and lows near 19°F. Other climbing is close by: the Fourth of July Area and Bedrock are each within a mile, and the Fourth Of July Creek Trail starts about 0.6 miles off.
