East Wenatchee is a climbing area in Washington, about 0.7 miles from the town of Olds. It is a small, compact spot with six routes, three of which are boulders and three are sport climbs. The sport routes run from 5.7 to 5.8 on the YDS scale, and the boulders sit in the V0-1 range. The most comfortable months for a visit are late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Wenatchee show May highs around 73°F and September highs near 79°F, while July and August average in the upper 80s. The closest trails are the Balsamroot Trail, about 2.6 miles away, and the Sage Hills Trail and Coyote Canyon Trail, each about 3 miles off. Paddlers can find Mission Creek roughly 9 miles away.
