Cathedral Peak is a climbing area in the Pasayten Wilderness, part of the Methow Valley Ranger District of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in Washington. The Forest Service manages the land, and the peak sits within designated wilderness. The area has eight alpine routes, all rated between 5.3 and 5.9 on the YDS scale. The NE Ridge is the easiest at 5.3, and the SE Buttress is the hardest at 5.9. The Monk - Le Gibet and The Monk - Odine are both 5.8. These routes were first climbed between 1973 and 1975. Amphitheatre Mountain, another climbing area, is about a mile away. The Lower Cathedral Lake Cutoff trail and Cathedral Lakes Trail #545 are both within about a mile and a half. The Lesamiz Trail is roughly 1.8 miles off.
