Cable Sign Zone is a bouldering area in Washington's Snoqualmie Ranger District, part of the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. It sits within the Middle Fork Snoqualmie Natural Resources Conservation Area, and the land is managed by the State Department of Natural Resources. The zone is a cluster of boulders rather than a single climb, and it works well as a short stop for climbers who want to pair it with other nearby crags. The climbing here is all bouldering, with 15 routes spread across the zone. The grades run from V0 up to V4-5, so there is something for climbers of all levels. Some of the named routes include Aretepeggios from Hell at V0, Spear Me at V1 and Friendly Fire at V4-5. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the Cedar Lake weather station, about 6.5 miles away, show July and August highs around 70°F with only eight or nine wet days a month, while winter brings highs near 39°F and regular snow days. The closest neighbors are (b) The Cult Boulder and (3) Access Road Zone, both about 0.1 mile away, and the Climbing Access Loop Trail at 0.2 mile. Tinkham Campground, about 3 miles off, is the nearest place to camp.
