Knucklehead is a short, steep mountain biking route in Washington, about 0.7 miles from the town of Henrys. It's an out-and-back ride of roughly 0.3 miles, with a total climb of 186 feet and a high point of about 695 feet. The route is rated hard, and the steepest stretch comes early, around 0.09 miles in, with a 10% grade. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from the nearby Landsburg weather station show July and August highs around 77°F with only about seven wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-40s and rain on 20 or more days. Several other mountain biking routes sit just 0.1 mile away, including A.T.M., Bermanator and Highway To Heaven. For paddling, Big Soos Creek is about 6.6 miles off.
