Pacific Pines State Park
About
Pacific Pines State Park is a public ocean beach on the Washington coast, about 0.7 miles from the town of Ocean Park, within the Pacific Cascade Region. The park has restrooms, and there is no fee to visit. Swimming is not allowed, so plan on enjoying the beach from the sand rather than the water. Summer and early fall are the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show highs around 65 to 67°F in July and August, with far fewer wet days than in winter, when rain falls on roughly 23 days a month. For a change of pace, the Don Bonker Cedar Grove Trail lies about 6.5 miles away. Hikers can also reach the Non-Existant Swamp Trail and Parker Slough Trail within 10 miles, and the South Nemah River, about 9 miles off, offers canoeing.
