Ocean Park
About
Ocean Park is a public ocean beach in Washington, about a mile from the town of Ocean Park, within the Pacific Cascade Region. It's a straightforward coastal stop with parking on site and no fee to visit. Swimming is not allowed, so plan on enjoying the shoreline from the sand rather than the water. Summer is the most comfortable time to come. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Long Beach put August highs around 67°F, with July and August seeing the fewest wet days of the year, about 11 to 12 a month compared with roughly 23 in midwinter. For more to do in the area, the Don Bonker Cedar Grove Trail is about 7 miles away, and the Non-Existant Swamp Trail and Parker Slough Trail are both within 10 miles. Paddlers can head to the South Nemah River, about 9 miles off.
