Klipsan Beach Access
About
Klipsan Beach Access is a public ocean beach on the Washington coast, about 2.3 miles from the town of Ocean Park. It offers a straightforward way onto the sand, with parking and restrooms at the access point. Late summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show August highs around 67°F with the fewest wet days of the year falling in July and August, while winter months bring highs in the upper 40s and rain on most days. There is no fee to use the access. Swimming is not allowed, so plan on enjoying the beach from the shore rather than the water. Nearby, the Don Bonker Cedar Grove Trail lies about 5 miles away and the Parker Slough Trail about 7.5 miles off. Paddlers can look to the South Nemah River, roughly 8.7 miles away, or Ellsworth Creek, just under 10 miles away.
