Veiny Boulder is a bouldering area in Virginia, set within the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Glenwood and Pedlar Ranger Districts of the George Washington and Jefferson National Forest. The National Park Service manages the land, and the area sits along the Parkway, which makes it an easy stop for climbers heading through the region. The bouldering here is all on the same rock, with five routes spread across the boulder. The grades run from V1 to V5, so there is something for climbers of all levels. The easiest are Capillary and Westard Expansion, both V1, and the hardest is Vlad the Inhaler at V5. Orlok is a V3, and Draco is a V4. Two other bouldering areas, Upper Deck and Inner Circle, are each about 0.1 mile away. For a walk, the Harkening Hill Loop Trail and Johnson Trail are both about 0.9 mile off.
