The Wild is a climbing area in Utah's Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, within the Pleasant Grove Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the climbing area sits alongside two other named climbing spots, Adjective and Zoo, both about 0.1 mile away. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the Timpanogos Cave weather station, about 13 miles away at nearly the same elevation, show May highs around 66°F and September highs around 76°F, while July climbs to about 88°F. Several other places are close by. Rock Canyon and Kyhv Peak Trail are both about 0.6 mile away. Hope campground is roughly 2.8 miles off, and Mill Race, a canoeing spot, is about 4.4 miles away.
