Maple Canyon is a climbing area in the Sanpete Ranger District of Manti-La Sal National Forest in Utah, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among several other climbing spots and trails, so it works well as a base for exploring the surrounding canyon country. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Moroni show May highs around 71°F and October highs around 66°F, while July averages climb to about 89°F and winter highs sit near 38°F.
