The Golden Boulders is a bouldering area in the Salt Lake Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah. It sits among several other climbing and hiking spots, with the 5 Mile Boulders and Green Adjective Gully Bouldering both about 0.1 mile away, and the Little Cottonwood Creek Trail also within a tenth of a mile. The area has nine bouldering routes, all rated on the V scale from V1 to V10. The easiest is Scat at V1, and the hardest is Kill it in the Evening at V10. The median grade is V5-6. Among the named routes are Golden at V7 and Mr. T at V7, the latter first climbed by Mike Call. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Timpanogos Cave show May highs around 66°F and September highs around 76°F, while July averages about 88°F. Tanners Flat Campground is about 2.9 miles away, and Lake Lillian is about 3.7 miles away.
