Beaver Mound is a bouldering area in Utah on state land managed by the State Land Board. It sits about a mile from Lonesome Beaver Road, another climbing area, and is close to several other bouldering spots in the region. The climbing here is all bouldering, with nine routes spread across the site. The grades run from V0 to V1, with most of the routes at V0. Beaver Chase, Ecosystem Engineers and Tail Slap are all V0, and Canal Digging and Fever Symptoms are V1. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Hanksville weather station show May highs around 81°F and October highs around 72°F, while July averages near 99°F and winter lows drop to about 15°F. Lonesome Beaver Campground is about 9 miles away for an overnight stay. Bull Mountain Boulders, Lost Spring Boulders and West Draw are all within about 7 miles.
