Whip It Trail is a mountain biking route in Utah, about a mile from the town of Kamas. It is a short, steep descent, with a one-way climb of 358 feet over 0.7 miles. The trail is rated hard, and the route is out and back, with the high point at 6,929 feet and the low at 6,559 feet. The trail starts with intermittent technical sections at the top, then moves into high-speed flow with optional rock-launch opportunities at the bottom. Dogs are allowed. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Kamas show July highs around 84°F with lows near 50°F, while winter brings highs in the mid-30s and regular snow days. The Lower Escalador Trail and Upper Escalador Trail both start about 0.1 mile away, and the Bad Hombre hike is also close by. Ponderosa Group Campground is about 4 miles off.
