Nome Trail is a mountain biking route in Utah on Bureau of Land Management land within the Moab Field Office. The trail is an out-and-back with a total length of about 4 miles, climbing roughly 340 feet from a low point of about 4,740 feet to a high of about 5,090 feet. It is rated hard, so plan on a more serious ride rather than a casual run. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show highs around 67°F in April and 68°F in October, while July highs reach about 96°F and January lows drop to about 17°F. That station sits a few hundred feet lower than the trail, so temperatures on the climb run a little cooler. Dino Flow Trail and Megasteps Trail both start about 0.3 miles away, and Alaska Trail is about 0.4 miles off. North Klondike Campground, roughly half a mile away, is the closest place to camp.
