Jackson is a mountain biking spot on Bureau of Land Management land in the Moab Field Office in Utah, about 4 miles from the town of Moab. The route sits at nearly 4,000 feet, with the high point at 3,957 feet and the low at 3,954 feet, so the climb is essentially flat. That makes it a short, low-elevation ride, but the route is rated hard, which suggests the challenge comes from the terrain rather than the climb itself. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from the nearby Moab weather station show April highs around 72°F and October highs around 74°F, while July averages near 99°F and January lows drop to about 21°F. Several other spots sit within a short distance. Kane Springs Road and Pritchett Canyon Trail are both about 0.2 miles away, and The Cirque of the Climbables is about 0.3 miles off. William's Bottom Campground is about half a mile away for anyone planning an overnight stay.
