About Up The Creek Campground

Up The Creek Campground is a 16-site, tent-only walk-in campground established in 1989 in downtown Moab, located two blocks from Main Street and adjacent to a perennial stream. The campground sits within a grove of large shade trees and offers level sand and dirt campsites with picnic tables at each site. Amenities include a clean bathhouse with hot showers and flush toilets, an outdoor dish-washing sink, horseshoe and cornhole games, and communal propane grilling stations. No RVs or vehicles are permitted in the camping area; guests park in a separate lot and walk to their sites, with carts available to help transport gear. The campground is within easy reach of Arches and Canyonlands National Parks and the Slick Rock Bike Trail. For 2026, the campground operates March 20 through November 2, with nightly rates from $28 to $49 depending on group size.
