Thunder is a short mountain biking route in Utah, about a mile from the town of Allen. It is a tiny climb, just 0.1 mile long, with a total elevation gain of 32 feet from a low point of 4,823 feet to a high of 4,881 feet. The steepest part comes at about 0.05 miles, with a grade of 6 percent. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from the nearby Alpine weather station show May highs around 71°F and October highs around 65°F, while July averages climb to about 89°F. The Gas Line Trail and the Rush Trail - Limelight Section both start about 0.1 mile away. Climbers can head to Red Rock, about 0.6 mile off, and Mountain Shadows RV Park offers camping about 2.7 miles away.
