Red Rock is a bouldering area in Utah, about a mile from the town of Allen. It sits close to the Quail Trail and Saddler Trail, both about 0.3 miles away, and is a short walk from the climbing area at The Balcony, about 1.1 miles off. The weather station closest to the area, at Draper-Point of the Mountain, sits a few hundred feet lower than Red Rock, so temperatures here run slightly cooler. Typical averages there are a high of 74°F and a low of 49°F in May, with highs near 81°F and lows around 54°F in September. July and August are the hottest months, with typical highs in the low 90s. The only route listed here is a boulder problem called "The only reason to visit the dentist," rated V1. Climbers can pair the boulders with a hike on the Quail Trail or Saddler Trail, and Mountain Shadows RV Park, about 2.5 miles away, offers a place to stay.
